Refractions of Ganymede’s Chalice was a series I painted in 2021 which translated Queer theory and history around intimacy, Cruising, and pattern. The staring point of the project was looking at Cruising culture amongst Gay men in the late 20th century amidst the Gay Sexual Liberation movement, Anti-Sodomy laws and the AIDS epidemic.
